I engaged with Hooked on Irish Genealogy to trace family on my Fathers side of the house. Not only was this provided and there was much information that we didn’t have but we also dropped my Mothers maiden name into the mix and we got an added branch to our tree. The fact that we were provided with nuggets of new information along the way made us feel part of the project and we really enjoyed the journey.

My Search started with a GrandFather who was raised by his Grandparents in Ireland but we knew there had to be more than one person in his little tree or ‘twig’. Hooked on Irish Genealogy went to work and we uncovered family in USA, Canada and England. Birth, Marriage and Death Certs and even a copy of my Great Grandmothers Will closed the circle of many lifetimes. We couldn’t be happier with our find.

We contacted Hooked on Irish Genealogy as we have a very common Surname and knew we could never unravel the Family history. However, after the Initial consultation and a bit of homework for us, we were convinced all would be revealed. Something as simple as uncovering an unusual first name gave the search a great boost and we now have a very complete Family History Book.
